I have served as the Teaching Assistant for Eliot Chapo, former Concertmaster of the New York Philharmonic and also Stephanie Sant’Ambrogio, former 1st Assistant Principal 2nd of the Cleveland Orchestra. During those years, I taught college undergraduate Violin and also coached orchestra sectionals. I maintained a private studio of highly motivated violin students, consistently achieving 100% entrance rate into the Reno Philharmonic Youth Orchestra. In 2009, I graduated from Fresno Pacific University with a Bachelor's degree in Music Education, and my primary instruments were violin, viola, and piano. After graduation, I continued to maintain my home studio where I taught individual lessons, and I also taught elementary orchestra for Chandler Unified. My students recieve clear and achievable goals at the end of each of their lessons to work on while they are practicing during the week. This enables students to be able to really see their own progress as the practice. I began teaching privately at the age of 17, as a way to expand my knowledge and experience. Of the jobs I have and have had, teaching is by far my favorite. I feel that it not only helps my students to grow, but for me to grow as well.
