I believe in teaching future string musicians there is only one way to make the best sound and teaching how to do this from the beginning. After further progress, I begin to introduce solo repertoire and add other pieces. I'm fairly flexible on what pieces the student may play in the lessons, as long as the rudiments and classic repertoire are covered. Read More

Nothing is more rewarding than seeing my students develop a passion for music and real skills the carry it out! Therefore, it's important that each student profresses at this or her own pace. I encourage this by setting realistic goals for my students at each lesson. Acknowledging accomplishments helps fuel a students desire to progress, and makes students eager to learn more. By trying to find out what inspires the student, I can successfully tailor my instruction to their wants and needs with my years of experience. Read More
