I always try to acknowledge my students accomplishments and push them to become the best musicians they can be. My methods are non-traditional for some students and traditional for others. Each person learns differently and needs different methods to achieve their goals. I have used Essential Methods books, Jump Right In books, and others that I have found in my studies as a music teacher. I began teaching private lessons as a sophomore in high school, where at first I had only one violin student. By the time I was a senior in high school I taught 10 students a week, all based on word of mouth recommendation through contacts at my former middle school. My aim for lessons is to present fun yet challenging material in a captivating and exploratory manner.
