For beginning students who are children, I usually would like to encourage them starts to play with little simple songs, likes many of songs they already can singing with. Once the student has progressed to have a grasp of the fundamentals, I will begin to introduce solo repertoire appropriate for their first recital performance. I will give them fun book after they learn the fundamentals. After that, I would like to ask and help them to prepare their first performance.
