I have been teaching since before I even went to college. My teaching experience, professionally, began in 2018. In 2019, I began college at the University of Louisiana at Lafayette for vocal music. After that, I went on to teach more voice lessons, and added on piano, ukulele, guitar, and even theatre. Currently, I am an elementary music teacher in the Bronx and East Harlem. In 2017, I graduated from Western Connecticut State University with a degree in Music, concentration in Classical Voice. From there Ive been working on my masters at the University of Bridgeport in Music Education. I will obtain that degree in December of 2019. I began teaching oboe and piano lessons when I was in college at Ball State University, about 8 years ago, and have added the other instruments over the course of the last 5 years. I struggled with intense performance anxiety, and found that singing at open mics relieved some of the stress I felt when I played the oboe. I encourage singing everything through before even touching the instrument, and ask all of my students to get comfortable with singing in lessons, because it's going to happen! Read More

My purpose is to inspired and challenge my students so that they can find their own voice and style, during my classes we find out what the best way to achieve our goals is by working hard, having fun and creating a musical relationship.
