Some of the highlights included Ado Annie in Oklahoma and the soloist for “Get all Excited” in Godspell. I also participated in local theater groups in Pennsylvania such as Civil Theater in Allentown, Pennsylvania Playhouse in Bethlehem and The Barn Playhouse in Norristown, Pa.. This experience prepared me for my next adventure; auditioning for Wagner College in New York as a theater major. I find that it does not matter which style of singing you would like to learn or how you would like to use your voice, breathing and breath work are an essential foundation to wonderful music making. Each lesson begins with a chat while we gently stretch, breathe and prepare your body to sing. Singers are attached to their instrument and so getting your mind focused and getting comfortable in the singing space allows us to have as productive a lesson as we can. We work on vocalizes and technique next- to properly warm you up and strengthen your instrument.
