After moving from Kansas City, Missouri, I am thrilled to be teaching privately in Bloomfield, Connecticut. I am a very positive, patient, and kind individual and have been able to sing, perform, and play throughout the United States and Europe. I am a firm believer that anyone can learn to sing and am thrilled that I help my students find their unique, beautiful voices so they can let them out with confidence. Read More

In May of 2016, I graduated from the University of Connecticut holding a bachelors degree in Music. At UConn, I took - and currently take private lessons with Metropolitan Opera bass-baritone Rod Nelman. My time at UConn was diversely beneficial, granting me opportunities to perform in operas, musicals, an a capella group, a marching band, and professional-level choirs that have performed at venues such as Carnegie Hall. I spent a semester taking classes with the Neag School of Education, working a teaching clinical in a nearby middle school, and a semester with the School of Business, studying entrepreneurship and managerial/interpersonal behavior. I started teaching about 3 years ago, and have been consistently going to various students' homes for lessons, voice and violin alike. I have worked with all ages, from 5 years old to over 60 years old. Making sure my students constantly practice is definitely one of my key points I focus on. I push them to take on challenges they thought might not have been possible for them to achieve. I love to see their growth, week after week. Read More

For Voice Students: I start each lesson with 10-15 minutes of vocal warm-ups and scales. The remainder of the lesson revolves around vocal pieces that either I think would be a good match for the voice, age, maturity, and ability of the student, or preparing a student for an audition or performance that they would like to perform a specific piece for. I also like to incorporate sight reading and ear training into my lessons, especially as the student grows into their voice. Read More

I take great pride in helping students feel prepared, confident, and proud of what they’ve accomplished. I’ve also helped shy beginners take the stage for the first time and watched them grow into expressive, enthusiastic performers. My favorite part of teaching is watching a student light up when they realize what their voice is capable of. I love connecting with each student and helping them tap into their unique musical potential. Read More
