If there is something a student is having difficulty with, I look at various ways in which we can work to improve the situation. I like to keep lessons fun and engaging but am also very passionate and serious about singing, so my style is a healthy mix between the two. For the more advanced students, I introduce the fundamentals of playing jazz piano as well. I have my voice students sing through repertoire in the styles of their choice in order to have a better understanding of how their unique voice functions.
