I love to have students have a conversation with me about their love for music. This is a great way to encourage them to continue with practicing outside of the lessons. If a student feels they are not happy with their voice on a certain exercise, I will modify the way I word something or have them try the exercise in a different way. I am a graduate of LIU Post who holds a Bachelors of Music in Music Education, Trombone Studies. During my time at LIU, I spent time taking lessons in clarinet, tuba, baritone horn/euphonium, piano, and trumpet. I am currently a Chorus/General Music teacher in Roosevelt. In addition to my day time job, I have maintained a small low brass studio but am looking to expand.
