I would teach my lesson on top of my lesson plans. As a teacher, writing lesson plans is an important factor of keeping the lesson organized. The lesson also depends a lot on the students' learning pace and hard work. I will take time to get to know the students and to find out their different learning style(visual, aural or kinetic. )I will set a detailed goal and plan for my students and keep track of their progress and measure our weekly target accordingly. I started teaching in high school. At Santa Monica High School, we had a huge music program. With 6 orchestras in making up the music program, I was placed in the orchestra made up of the most advanced players. I volunteered my time every week at the request of our orchestra director to giving lessons to students placed in the beginning and intermediate orchestras. My mother was a piano teacher for over 30 years with contagious passion for music and her students, so with training in perfect pitch, sight-reading, and other musicianship skills, I began performing solo and in ensembles. This can be anything from wanting to learn a song, compose music, or simply just figure out some chords to play at a bonfire or social gatheirng.
