I am a very flexible teacher and I understand firsthand that to remain interested in learning music, a student needs to feel included in the choices regarding what they are working on. I approach teaching by focusing on the student. I find out what they need and want first. We set realistic goals together and I give them the tools to help them reach their goals. I don't want my students to be entirely dependent on me. I like to give them exercises to do on their own in between lessons so that time doesn't go to waste and they can see quicker improvement with their own practicing. Read More
