I discovered my love for teaching in High School when my fellow students would always come to me for music help or coaching. In college I took our Vocal Pedegogy class and it was the perfect fit. I was so interested in the subject I asked my professors for more and we started the Coker College Community Program together. We always spend time at the end singing something they want to sing, it's important to not feel pressured into music. We will build a repertoire of songs the student is connected to and work towards a set list for a showcase.
