I am a passionate voice and beginning piano teacher with over ten years of experience teaching. For beginner piano students I use the Piano Adventures curriculum. With voice students I use an integrated technique involving Alexander Technique, Yoga, and the Swedish-Italian School of singing. I also believe in maintaining a positive and challenging learning environment for my students. In my private lessons I emphasize building a strong foundation in rhythm, intonation, and note accuracy.  I incorporate learning theory, and playing with musical intention into every lesson to develop maturity, even in young musicians.  My students are comfortable reading music, and have all the skills they need to practice effectively.  In addition, I have prepared many musicians for successful concerts, festivals, and gigs.
