I began teaching about 10 years ago, in 2010, after getting into my undergraduate studies for music performance. I have taught all levels and in many different settings: To-date I have taught ages 6 through 65. I have taught in formal school system classrooms, private music studios, community centers and at a student's home. I assess what book level is necessary during our first lesson. Other beginner material I use are: Alfred's Basic Piano Library Lesson Books, Older Beginner Piano Course (For Adult Beginner Students), and Piano Adventures series. I was previously a member of the Wichita Grand Opera Chorus, and recently performed in their productions of Turandot, Don Carlo, Tosca, Guillaume Tell, Otello and Le Nozze di Figaro. I have alsoperformed other professional roles such as a Belle/Chorus in The Forum Theater's production ofA Christmas Carol.
