Music is a great art form to express emotion and passion for something we cannot say in words. In church, I teach the choir to express their feelings of joyfulness when praising God. Outside church, I've taught privately in piano and voice for twelve years, five with Musika. I am a graduate of The Manhattan School of Music, earning both my Bachelor and Master of music degrees. I have performed as a recitalist, in operas and as soloist with orchestra. I have students with different ages from youngest ages 5 years to seniors 85+. Stefanie made her international operatic debut last season as Adina in LElisir dAmore with Musica Viva Hong Kong. This spring, she premiered a role in each of Bruce Saylors world premiere one-act operas, My Kinsman, Major Molineux The Image Maker. An avid linguist, Stefanie has studied languages and performed recitals in Italy, Germany and Austria, and was chosen as the first-ever recipient of the National Italian American Foundations Andrea Bocelli Music Scholarship. For my piano students, I use different method and technique books in order to help my students learn the basics.  This includes how to properly read their sheet music so that they can pratice their skills by themselves.  I also use repetition and demonstrate different pratice skills so that my students can further advance their piano skills.
