I have previously taught piano and voice to children when I was in high school. In college, I worked with Tammy Hensrud and Craig Schulman (who has starred in Les Miserables and The Phantom of the Opera). I am currently the voice teacher of Jake Katzman, who is in the Broadway production of Kinky Boots. Read More

I'm a passionate and motivated instructor who loves working with students and sharing my love of music. In 2017, I graduated from Queens College with a Master of Music degree in Jazz Performance(Voice). Performing all over the world has been one of the greater experiences of my life as a musician, and I've had the opportunity to play at Asian American Pacific Islander Heritage Festival, Museum of Chinese in America, Flushing Town Hall, Queens Library in New York, as well as touring China as several performances as the singer/band leader with Vivi H. I believe in teaching discipline, responsibility and dedication through the art of music! I use the NYS Common Core in Music to teach. My students are more likely to excel in all of their studies, have enhanced critical thinking skills and will have a higher level of focus discipline than students not studying music the arts. As an adult, learning how to play an instrument is a way to challenge your brain in an effort to stay sharper and alert for longer. Read More

I want my students to achieve what they're looking for besides learning something new. From my experience, every time I learn a new thing I get excited and that's how I want my students to feel, EXCITED. That way the lessons get more interesting each time and they would wanna get more out of it. And the best part is, the improvement portion of it. Expanding knowlege and skills do make them feel like it's worth it, so I acknowledge every improvements and will always guide them towards it. Read More

He became interested in classical music when his elementary school class took monthly trips to the New York Philharmonic, and this is where he discovered his love for the flute as an instrument. “The flute always stood out to me because it was the highest and brightest voice,” he remembers. In elementary school, he began his flute studies through a scholarship program sponsored by the New York Philharmonic at the Lucy Moses School. Read More
