Yearning a deep and fulfilled interest in classical music has enabled me to uniquely interpret classical music on a complex analytical music level & compositionally dissecting music. I am patient and active with each of my students. I taught drama and music classes, students grades 5 - 12. In my classes are created group lessons, opportunities for student performance, and facilitated community building between the students. My methods of teaching vary depending on how old my student is and their current level. For example, with a young beginner I will start off by teaching them the scale. With my new beginning students, who don’t have much experience, we start with the fundementals - singing posture, breathing, basic warm ups and their importance, music theory, and simple repertoire. For my more intermediate, advanced students, I will check to see where your fundementals are, and help you blossom from there. My intermediate to advance students will continue to work on breathing, breath control, warm ups, music therory, and will be assigned to contrasting songs at a time. Read More

My piano students generally start with Faber Piano Adventures. I assign them solo repertoire as they progress through each level in preparation for a recital performance. For the more advanced students, I introduce the fundamentals of playing jazz piano as well. I have my voice students sing through repertoire in the styles of their choice in order to have a better understanding of how their unique voice functions. While working on repertoire, I instill habits of healthy breathing and vocal production. Read More
