I then guide the student through various exercises that are designed to improve and strengthen specific areas of the voice, specific registers, problem areas, and so on. My teaching style is relaxed but focused. Understanding that each student develops at his or her own pace, I am patient and willing to answer any questions as we move along. I will set a goal for each lesson, and provide material to practice in between meetings. It's important to me that I find out what the student's goals are to ensure we are heading in the right direction.
