I have taught several students while I was studying music. I won the third place of the Taipei City Competition of Music among many outstanding competitors in 2015. On the other hand, I strived for the chance of participating in many performances. In 2014, I performed Edward Elgar's Cello Concerto in E minor, Op. 85 with the local orchestra in Hualien. In 2017, I played Prokofiev’s Sinfonia-Concertante, Op.125 at my recital at Soochow University, which was praised by my teachers and the audiences. Read More

As a cellist and pianist, I have enjoyed an international performance career as a chamber music player, soloist, and string orchestra musician. As a performer, I love chamber music and soloist playing, both music paths that I have been cultivating and expanding. My love for teaching comes from the uncountable great life lesson from my music teachers that I wish to give back. While I am new to teaching, I am hoping to create a comfortable environment where students do not feel rushed to complete pieces or practices, and we will always move at the students pace. If a student is not yet ready to move on to the next piece, then we will continue polishing whatever they need before moving on. I will always keep a log of what the student is currently working on, and what they should work on between lessons so we can always make sure things get done, and can move on to new things. Read More
