While I am new to teaching, I am hoping to create a comfortable environment where students do not feel rushed to complete pieces or practices, and we will always move at the students pace. If a student is not yet ready to move on to the next piece, then we will continue polishing whatever they need before moving on. For beginning learners, I attach great importance to the sitting position and ear training, so paying attention to intonation and awareness of sitting position when playing the cello is my primary consideration. For intermediate students who study for more than one year, I will pay more attention to left-handed skills and students' mastery of the bowing. For advanced players, I will focus more on musical interpretation and comprehensive techniques. For a creative activity, I encourage my students to relax and have fun while learning about the nuances of the music playing to comprehend the relationship between the theory and the performance. I believe that music learning is just like the alphabet, learning each letter by the time. My personal goal is to teach my students how to be performers and play beautiful music on the concert stage.
