I start every student with basic terminology for the instrument. I work on bow technique and instrument technique very early on, I believe every student wants to play as soon as possible. Music should be fun and as such, if a student is not enjoying lessons anymore I do not push and leave the option to end up to the student and parents. I began teaching privately as a high school student, working with begnning students at the middle school. I have taught privately in my home and in students' homes since graduating from college. Regular practice is very important and something I emphasize with my students. I like to include a mixture of classical and modern music in my lessons, so that students enjoy what they are learning and playing. Hello! I am an energetic and dedicated instructor that cares very much for my pupils. In 2016, I graduated from Baldwin Wallace University with a Bachelors of Arts in Cello Performance. I then lived in France and worked as an English teacher in three elementary schools. From there I moved to Cardiff, United Kingdom where I completed my Masters degree in Music Cello Performance.
