This small instrument is how we bagpipers learn, rehearse, memorize, and re-learn all music before attempting it and perfecting it on the full bagpipes. Bagpipers have to know what they are doing with their hands so when they add the full instrument, they are almost on "auto-pilot" and can focus on blowing good tone into the bagpipe. Read More

We will begin with method books such as the Rubank Elementary, Intermediate, and Advanced studies. I started teaching private lessons in college and continued doing so after graduation. I like teaching private lessons because students learn valuable skills and techniques that will help in every aspect of a student's life. Students learn time management, dedication, and work ethic through taking private lessons and I love watching students grow throughout the process.
