My teaching style begins with my assessment of each student's abilities, physical, mental, and emotional. By this method I am able to design a realistic program for each student. Patience and encouragement go hand in hand, acknowledging their accomplishments all along the way. Once some fundamentals are established, I add pieces that the student has an interest in learning. It will actually be my first experience at teaching. I'm glad to have chosen Musika for this new experience and can't wait to teach new students what I learnt from my own teachers. Alongside my carrier as a profession musican and composer, I've also had extensive experience as an educator. I began teaching in 2009 while I was studying Jazz at UCSD. In 2011-2013 I was a teaching assistant at UC Irvine in 2011-2013 for the subjects of Music Appreciation, Fundamentals, History of Jazz, and Music of The Beatles - of which I lectured, graded, and tutored.
