In the following four months or so, I joined two bands and began playing live at every possible opportunity: Teen centers, town halls, art spaces, motorcycle rides, homecoming festivals, you name it. I have played in venues from small coffee houses to The Paramount in Huntington, NY.  I have played in many groups and ensembles as a premier performer and, of course, as part of the "tutti".  I have studied under Micheal Bellajonas at Suffolk County Community College and Jerry Willard at Stony Brook University in my classical guitar studies.  I maintain a violin/guitar duet with my wife, who is on her way to becoming a music educator.  I've taught all different types of students and am very open and patient to everyone's needs. My method of teaching focuses on Technique and Musicality. No matter the level of student, these areas can be practiced and results will be heard thru the focus on these. Reading music is taught, but naturally along with the focus on the two areas mentioned before. For example, Eddie wants to learn ACDC's "Back in Black". I only had a couple of students at that time due to my workload in school and other curricular activities, but I felt comfortable in my ability to teach the drums intuitively, thanks to my drum teacher.
