I graduated from Northwestern University this June with my Bachelor of Music degree in Music Education and Saxophone Performance. For age 0-4, I have opened Zumbini program for those babies and their caregivers. My piano lessons start at age 4. For those beginner students, I use Piano Adventures from Faber and Faber, typically focused on lesson books, performance books and theory books. When students move on to the higher levels, I will start to introduce easy classical repertoire, such as J.S. Bach or Bergermuller. If students have specific interests or preferred genre, I will encourage to explore them and help them along the way. Read More

I have been teaching saxophone lessons ever since I was 15 years old, when I used to mentor other students who were just starting to play. I am comfortable teaching all ages, and have had students in the past ranging from ages 6 to 50. Teaching is a great joy for me; some of my proudest moments have been at student recitals, watching young musicians play!
