I am a dedicated and motivated instructor with over 10 years of public school and private experience in Texas, Massachusetts, and Florida. I graduated from SMU's Meadows School of the Arts (Dallas, TX) with degrees in Music Education and Saxophone Performance. As a performer, I have substituted with the Dallas Wind Symphony, performed with MIT's Balinese Gamelan, Gamelan Galak-Tika, and played bansuri (Indian flute) with my husband on tabla at various Indian weddings and venues. I recently graduated with my Bachelors Degree in Flute Performance from the University of Florida in Spring 2018. GO GATORS!!! I also have a minor in Disabilities in Society and took pre-nursing courses. I have decided to pursue a Music Therapy certification and Masters Degree in Music Therapy at Florida State University starting in Fall 2018. One of my greatest passions is teaching students, especially music students!
