My teaching experience started when i was 16 years old and i was known as a rock guitar player around the school when all the sudden i had friends of mine approach me asking for lessons, i started teaching beginner lessons since it was an area i could master easily and i also wanted to get in touch with what being a teacher was in the first place. Therefore, I spend the early lessons getting to know the student and designing the layout for our lessons moving forward. There are definitely certain books that I have used to assist with teaching. I think one of the most important aspects of teaching music is how to learn. Every student learns differently. Knowing if they learn well by sheet music, by ear, or just working on technique.
