My teaching experience dates back to my High School years, as I began teaching private lessons part time 10 years ago, and have been consistently teaching students throughout my life for the last 10 years. I encourage regular practice on a consistent schedule, as it tends to help the student progress and gain a passion for the instrument. For example if I have a guitar student that really wants to be a lead guitarist I will play the solo of one of there favorite songs and teach them a small part of it or all of it if they are at an advanced level. I began teaching privately in 1999 when i started music school at the university of alabama. I then moved to Miami in 2006where i taught through the school of music.
