That's what I thought, and I know I'll have to slow down and find the way that influencing their study or if they just want to be more active instead of sitting around. I have taught the drums in a variety of settings for 15 years. In Australia I worked for the South Australian Government in the Instrumental Music Service for 3 years. I provided group drum lessons to students ranging from elementary to senior high school age with a total of 40 lessons each week, at 10 different schools to over 100 students! We start each lesson with proper breathing technique, the cornerstone of all vocals. We then move on to various vocal exercises to help condition the voice. Then we will work on the songs that interest you and that you are eager to sing! I will use a piano for warm ups and conditioning exercises. In 2013, I graduated with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Music from George Washington University, where I studied a range of genres (including jazz, classical, and musical theatre) and instruments (voice, piano, flute, and even some latin percussion).
