For beginning students I start with the Essential elements similar to what they learn in a middle school classroom. I have a student use a sprial or paper and pencil to keep track of their progress week to week as well as a mental reminder to refer to when they practice. I always recommend having a pencil and highlighter color of choice during lessons to be able to mark or make notes on music and highlighter as a memory jogger as needed. Read More

Tiffany C. mezzo-soprano, received her Bachelors degree of Music in Voice Performance from the University of Mary Hardin-Baylor in Belton, TX, and has also received a Master’s degree in Voice Performance from Florida State University. Throughout her time in obtaining a Bachelor’s degree Tiffany placed 1st in many competitions such as TEXOMA NATS, and South Texas NATS. She has also received various awards such as the Harold Stark Encouragement Award, the Lucila Montoya Award for outstanding performance of a Spanish art song, and the Alice Dutcher Thornton Certificate of Honor. I was born and raised in Huntsville, Alabama. I came to Arizona pursuing my masters degree in music performance, and have stayed in the Valley of the Sun.
