I approach teaching in a universal way before specializing on a student's particular interest within music. I try to provide students with a road map so they can determine where they want to go musically. I do this by introducing various styles and techniques that they may not have heard before. I believe that validation, especially from the parents, truly helps students maintain an interest in music. It helps them develop a personal drive to succeed not only in music, but in life. Read More
