I graduated with my bachelors degree from Aurora University in May of 2015, and I just completed the first year of my masters degree. I am actively performing in the university's Opera Theatre productions and also was a member of The University Choral Society this past year. My favorite thing about teaching is that no two students are the same; and no two lessons with the same student are either! It is so important to establish a goal for a student to work towards, so that they know what they're practicing for. Not huge goals either that are months away, but goals that can be accomplished between each lesson. The best part of the job is seeing students get excited for music, and being able to grow in such a way that they're able to put their personality into their performances. Read More
