I've always felt a calling to music; as a child I took choir for three years and then hand bells for another three years in high school. Finally, sitting for the first time at a drum kit in 2013, I discovered my true love for percussion. I began taking up to three lessons a week with a blast beat and heavy metal emphasis for the next year and a half. I do encourage students to look for opportunity to play/sing in their school/church or in front of their friends/family for special occasions. I have been studying all aspects of flute culture since I discovered my father's old flute in a box when I was 7. I fell in love the first time I heard him play, and knew then that I would grow up to study music and perform. I began formal instruction in school at the age of 10, and quickly earned the top place in my beginners class.
