With 6 orchestras in making up the music program, I was placed in the orchestra made up of the most advanced players. I volunteered my time every week at the request of our orchestra director to giving lessons to students placed in the beginning and intermediate orchestras. As the students progress through the series I will encourage them to begin learning pieces on their own and eventually preparing them for recital performances. Apart from only taeching, I also love to learn. I love to learn about what inspires people, about what motivates them and what they dream of becoming or acomplishing. No judgements, no rushing. Everybody learns at they're own speed. I set realistic goals and encourage students to find they're own style of expression. Learning music should always be fun.
