I always want to make sure my students can apply what they learn in my lessons to their participation in their actual choirs. If a student is preparing for a PMEA Choir audition, I will help them prepare the repertoire as well as provide a mock audition. If they sing in a church choir, we will work on sight singing hymns as well as working on any difficult literature. If they simply want to learn more about music theory, I will focus on that. Has worked with jazz and pop bands throughout his career, and currently leads his own jazz ensemble. He has periodically performed solo piano concerts of his own piano arrangements and he regularly plays solo keyboard/piano music at private functions. In addition, he created and performed music shows for elementary age children. I'm an acoustic and electric cellist multi-instrumentalist who is passionate about creativity and music as a means to joy! In 2019, I graduated from Temple University with a B.M. in Music Therapy/Cello where I studied both classical and jazz music. I've been playing cello for 13 years in orchestras, quartets, jazz combos, and my personal favorite, rock bands. I graduated from Temple University initially in 2011, but was drawn back several years later to complete my Master's Degree, which ended in 2015. I have performed all across the state of Pennsylvania, in Connecticut, New York, Delaware, and as far away as Italy.
