There are a few exercises from the essential elements book that I like to use with beginners, but not enough to warrant purchasing the book. For 2 years starting in 2017, I worked as a graduate voice assistant at the University of Minnesota where I taught vocal methods in a classroom environment, as well as private lessons to a studio of 18+ students. I am an overly passionate musician that enjoys writing, listening, and analyzing music just as much as playing it. I enjoy sharing that passion with as many people as possible, and teaching it to whoever will listen. I began playing trumpet 15 years ago and writing music 12 years ago. I am a composition grad student at Brooklyn Music Conservatory beginning year 2.
