For beginners students I typically start with music exploration, with percussion instruments or even turning or our bodies into a musical instrument, then once they have decide the instrument they want to learn, we begin with muscle memory and easy basic repertoire, for students that have been already initiated, I find out what kind of music there interested about and provide some of the basic skills to perform the piece they are interested in and slowly but surely introduced the basic skill to properly perform the piece. Singing lessons should always be fun and positive. A student should come out of a voice lesson with new knowledge that they can then go and apply during their practice at home. I am a firm believer that most of the learning is done outside the lesson through the student's application of what he/she learned during the lesson. My belief is that I am a guide to the student, but the student must meet me halfway, so that we can learn from each other, work together, and find what works best for the student's voice. Read More

In September 2010, i was the drummer for the band " The Secret ", we won the  first place in the “EUROVOICE” contest with our song “In the Arms of My Angel”. I moved to Austin, Texas (USA) in February 2013 to continue my musical career. Since then, i have played with many Austin musicians as well as being a member of One World (R)evolution  and the drummer of the  artist  "Sefo" .  We are presently in the studio recording their upcoming album, expected for release in 2015. I have been teaching continuously since 2002. I started by teaching undergraduate students at UT and continued in high schools and middle schools in the greater austin area. I encourage students to find the best fit for their interests and talents during lessons. Some students want to be able to sing better in church or school choirs, while others are interested in musical solos or college auditions. While I am new to teaching, I am hoping to create a comfortable environment where students do not feel rushed to complete pieces or practices, and we will always move at the students pace. If a student is not yet ready to move on to the next piece, then we will continue polishing whatever they need before moving on. I will always keep a log of what the student is currently working on, and what they should work on between lessons so we can always make sure things get done, and can move on to new things. Read More
