When teaching, I stress the basics so that students have a good foundation that they can build on. I also expose students to different musical styles and approaches to the drums. In 1986, I graduated from the San Francisco Conservatory of Music with a Bachelors of Music degree in cello performance. I have played professionally as a gigging cellist in chamber music ensembles and orchestras for many years. I have taught cello to adults as well as children and enjoy seeing the satisfaction my students get when they experience getting a warm and beautiful sound from the cello. Read More
