Regardless of technical ability, we will make music during lesson 1. Younger guitar students will work through the Hal Leonard Guitar for Kids Method with me in order to establish comfortability. From there we will progress into learning songs, developing musical interests, and playing our first performance. I started playing trumpet in middle school band and enjoyed playing so much I quickly started a group with my brother and friends. Since then I have played more than 2000 shows at venues ranging from the iconic Red Rocks Amphitheater to the intimate El Chapultepec.
