In the fall of 2019, I graduate from Bridgewater State University with Bachelor of Arts degree in Music with a focus in Vocal Performance. Performing has been one of the great experiences of my life as a vocalist. I then went onto the University of Bridgeport where in 2013 I received my Bachelors of Music with a focus on Education. During my time studying music I have learned countless instruments, methods, producing, recording, studio work, and more. I graduated with a Bachelor of Music degree in trombone performance from the Hartt School of Music, Theater, and Dance in 2018 and I am currently working on a masters degree at the Hartt School. I got to work with so many young performers with varying skill levels and aided them in discovering their voice and confidence. Since then, I have begun my own private vocal coaching business and became a singing/musical theatre teacher at All Stars Dance Center in Westfield, MA. I am laid back teacher but at the same time expect the most out of my students. I stress the importance of daily practice, but at the same time try to make it a fun activity. I want the lesson space to be somewhere that student can be themselves, and always explain my reasons for having a student perform a certain task. But after my first students gave their recital, I was overcome with a feeling that I could not replicate simply through my own performance. Each and every student is unique and therefore has their own set of goals and accomplishments to achieve and I am always thrilled when I feel that I have played a small role in that process. I started teaching guitar during college at a local middle school and enjoyed working with younger students. I have always maintained a group of students who I teach on a part-time basis. I also work as a college counselor, so I teach guitar because I thoroughly enjoy helping students learn and play guitar. Read More
