Teaching has always been a passion of mine! In 2019, I graduated from University of Central Arkansas with my Bachelor of Music Education. From there, I earned a Graduate Certificate in Trombone Performance from the University of Central Arkansas in 2020. Finally in May 2023, I earned my Master of Music in Trombone Performance with a secondary area in Music Education. Allison is a flutist from Miami, FL, who has been playing since she was 9 years old. A graduate from University Miami with several scholarships, as well as finishing up her Master's under scholarship from University of North Texas, she has studied with some of the top instructors in the country. She just recently finished a Teaching Fellowship at UNT, where she was responsible for teaching undergraduate non-performance majors (music ed and pre-music) and jazz saxophonists how to double on the flute. I have been teaching music lessons as a music therapist since 2007 and have much experience with adapted lessons for students with developmental disabilities and other limitations.  I started teaching typical lessons in addition to adapted lessons in 2013 and it has been an added joy for me. I love teaching basic music lessons and music theory to children developing strong musical roots. I encourage a regular practice schedule for all of my students to help develop strong habits and engraving music in each of their lives.
