I am a young passionate and motivated musician who loves interacting with students and sharing my love for music. I am currently a student at the University of North Carolina at Greensboro majoring in Music performance with a concentration in Jazz. Mainly based in the North Carolina region I have performed all over the east coast in clubs venues and jazz festivals. I have had the opportunity to share the stage with a number of top notch musicians and have even taken my band to host one of the late night jam sessions at the Pittsburg International Jazz festival. Nothing is more rewarding than seeing one of my students develop a passion for music! Therefore, it's important that each student progresses at their own pace. I try to make sure that fundamentals are always maintained and that the music we are covering in lessons is stimulating and challenging while still being enjoyable for the student so that they can develop musical expression along with a strong technical foundation. Because I don't have a set template that all students follow, I believe that my constant assessment and evaluation of students needs is effective in making sure that each student's passion is nurtured and developed. Instruments: Piano Voice
I have been around nearly every popular piano series and I think each one is has some solid areas. With beginners I like to pick and choose from different books, the primary lesson book being chosen once I meet the student and get a feel for how quickly they are going to progress. Reading music and counting are both so very important if you want to be a successful musician, which means they are the foundation of all my lessons. Read More

My name is Dr. Lee R. and I am a cellist, cello teacher, and conductor. I was born in New Haven, Connecticut, but am primarily a native of North Carolina. I began my musical studies at the age of eight on the violin with my mother, virtuoso violinist and violin teacher, Elaine Lee R.. At age fourteen, I switched to the cello, beginning lessons with Luca DiCecco. For my senior year of high school, I left public school to attend the North Carolina School of the Arts. Read More
Instruments: Trumpet
I am a young aspiring student just like those that I teach and, therefore I enjoy having fun and keeping the student engaged as I understand how hard it is to focus when beginning to play an instrument like the trumpet which may seems mundane at first. My main quote for success is to,"aim for the moon and if you fail you will land among the stars." I encourage my students to set goals that may be a little outside of their comfort zone, but I will never set a goal that is outside the level of achievement for a specific students skills. Read More
Instruments: Drums
Hi everyone! I have been involved in performing and recording music my entire life, primarily as drummer and percussionist, but also as composer/ songwriter/ multi-instrumentalist. After eighteen years as director of the Enrichment Center Percussion Ensemble, I am devoting myself full time to music creation and private music instruction. While I have extensive experience teaching music to individuals with disabilities, and won awards for my success in doing so, I have taught many others along the way, from children to adults.
