I am a passionate and motivated instructor with a love for working with students of all ages and levels. I hold four degrees in violin performance and have been teaching for nineteen years. For beginning students who are children, I use a variety of methods, including Hal Leonard's Children's Guitar Method, Suzuki methodologies (I am NOT a Suzuki-certified teacher), and materials I've developed over my 25 year teaching career. I look at a students ability to read music first to determine what kind of music they should be working on. I teach students on an individual basis in order to quickly help them improve. I expected online students to bring up information about their playing experiences so that can best accommodate them as their online private teacher.
