I have taught for many music schools (both public and private).  I have also owned my owe school of arts, teaching all instruments, putting together young groups.  One group in particular called: "ARCTIC THUNDER" was a group of 14 children from 8 - 14 yrs old.  They performed at Walt Disney (Magic Music Days), and opened for many known recording artist.  You can see a video of them recording by searching for Kayla Arctic Thunder on Youtube. When i graduated college I began teaching my own private lessons for piano and have been for almost 3 years in student homes. I start from 5 years old, all the way up to adults. I grew up playing both piano and drums. In addition to my Piano Masters at Peabody, I minored in percussion and performed with the Peabody Percussion ensemble in Carnegie Hall. In the Air Force I played piano with the Washington State Air National Guard Jazz band for two years. I then transferred to the Pennsylvania Air National Guard where I played Tympani and other percussion for the Air Force Symphonic Band in Harrisburg. Read More

Some have creativity to compose music and other are good at understanding what composers idea and perform music beautifully. Therefore I take different approach to each student. I discuss about their goal and set the goal with together with students. I explain what is the best way to achieve the goal.
