My process is based on (but does not adhere strictly to) the Classical approach to Western tonal harmony and asks that the students develop certain fundamentals of technique and theory. In my experience, this structure creates the strongest foundation for pupils to build the rest of their musical lives on, whether professionally or solely for personal enjoyment. All of my students are on the fast track to studying music theory. Read More

My teaching experience dates back to my high school years, as I have 20 years of teaching private lessons, along with 10 years of band and orchestra teaching. Individually, I have taught piano along with band instruments such as flute, clarinet, trumpet, trombone, saxophone and percussion. Encouraging regular practice on a consistent schedule is one of the key points I like to emphasize for younger students, as it tends to help the student progress and gain a passion for the instrument. Instruments: Piano Voice Keyboard
I began teaching others piano and voice when I was a teenager since I had already had 10 years of training and experience performing in front of thousands of people. I LOVE children (I have 5 of my own and one on the way!) and love how music opens up all kinds of creativity, emotions and imagination in them. Having done 15 European concert tours and been all over the states, the one thing we all share on this planet is a love for MUSIC. Read More

In guitar, I mainly teach beginning level, consisting largely of chords, accompanying singing, and some tab reading. I do the same with ukulele, which is much easier for younger students to handle, and it is a step toward guitar if they wish. I have performed as a singer with guitar, mainly folk music, and that is what I like to teach. But my main instrument is piano, where I teach classical, pop, and a variety of styles. Read More

I like to divide my lessons into three different parts the first part would be a warm up in wish we get ready all the necessary muscles involved in playing the instrument with exercises that would develop dexterity and coordination simultaneously, the second part of how to listen is based on learning a basic piece of music that is guaranteed to develop the basic skills to perform something that they are interested on, on the cliff part of the lesson is to choose a song that the student wants to learn and analyze it apply what we learned by playing the basic peace and the warm ups. My teaching experiences started when I was in college, a fellow classmate of mine needed help with some of her younger students and the world of music education opened up to me from there. I have been teaching steadily now for 7 years, working with students from ages 5-55. I have taught group and private lessons in music studios, students' homes, or my own home studio. Students I have come across in time have come with a multitude of personality types, learning patterns and physical challenges. Read More
Instruments: Piano Cello
I believe the early years of a music beginner are the most influential time to develop healthy technique habits and a love for music. For that reason, I provide a positive experience by being attentive to the student's needs and aspirations and adapt my teaching accordingly. For more advanced students, I interview them to plan a syllabus for their desired results and schedule their classes accordingly. Should any student want to pursue higher education in music, I can help with auditions, university requirements, etc. Read More
