I've been teaching piano for over 10 years, teaching both privately and in group classes. I've taught students from 7 1/2 to 75. My passion for teaching has extended into my graduate studies, where I focused on piano pedagogy. In addition, I've spent the last 5 years working in a University Teaching Center, working with faculty members and graduate students on how to improve their classroom teaching! My experience as a teacher spans many subjects including not only music but also academics and physical education. I've worked as a gymnastics and motor skills instructor for children aged 3-5. I have been in charge of outreach programs through the Houston Food bank, traveling to various locations in the Houston area to give lessons on nutrition and physical fitness to children of all ages.
