I strongly believe is positive reinforcement methods. I will work with each student pending on the learning style they need and type of music they are interested in. Also, I try to engage and get the student excited about what they are learning. This is important to progress and keeping them interested in what they do. For beginning students I use the Bastien System. For Adults, I use The Alfred Adult beginner for Piano Lessons. I try to adapt the method to the skill of the student, which incorporates my own system, based on years of teaching. I teach according to the student;s skill, and at their own pace. I initiated a piano lab at my last school for second grade students. I employed creativity and fun in my mission to expose my students to the use of various percussion instruments.
