I am a passionate and dedicated instructor who only wants my students to feel successful when making music. I graduated from the University of Miami with a Bachelor of Music Degree in Music Education/Jazz Vocal Performance. I have had opportunities to perform with Latin Artists like Juanes and perform at Carnegie Hall. I was the only freshmen selected in the top University of Miami Chorale and I have also performed with professional a cappella groups in NYC where I have arranged music and done vocal percussion. If a student comes in as a beginner, I will teach them the notes first, then reading on the staff and chords. I try to encourage everyone to learn how to read music, but certain students prefer to learn pieces quicker, in which case I can speed up the process by telling them the notes to play. I constantly ask the students for the piece that they want to play themselves and I encourage them to try them even if they feel like it appears too difficult. Read More

Nothing is more rewarding than seeing one of my students develop a passion for music! Therefore, it's important that each student progresses at his or her own pace. My favorite thing about teaching has always been that moment when a student finally “gets” something he/she has been working on.
