In 2018, I graduated from New York University with a Masters of Music in Composition for Film and Visual Media. My projects include film scores, chamber and large ensemble compositions, musical theatre songwriting, choral music, and electroacoustic and intermedia projects. As a working composer, I have been given the opportunity to score short films that have entered the festival circuit, collaborating with directors internationally. I am very flexible with my teaching methods and put together the best style matching the student's learning strengths. Furthermore, I update and change my methods if I feel the current method is becoming ineffective. My methods are geared toward the individual. Oftentimes I might start with a methods book for a beginner, but supplement it with musical choices by the individual. In selecting these choices, I find ways to simplify the music so that the student is able to be able to play it. My method is also based on questions that the student might ask. So while we will have an approach that is organized and structured, I find that addressing seemingly unrelated musical questions, can actually be incorporated into the tasks at hand. Read More

An unforgettable highlight was sharing the stage with Cous at the iconic Red Rocks Amphitheater in October 2022. Collaboration has been a cornerstone of my musical adventure, featuring esteemed artists like Cous, Grace De Vine, Lauren Hifrauf, Dandu, Diego Frenkel, Venus Cruz, Willie Green, Greg Tanner Harris, and Verena Fuentes. In a remarkably short period since its inception in 2020, my current project, "People in Between," has graced esteemed platforms like The Denver Post Underground Music Showcase, the Larimer Block Party (now Project PBR), and had the honor of opening for Grammy-nominated artist Emily Hale. While enjoying all school music activities I was selected to join in honor county and state orchestras and choirs. In junior high and high school I was selected to play for the Junior Pacific Symphony Orchestra, received scholarships to music summer camps, and was selected musician of the year. In college my quest continued with the Orange Coast College Orchestra, Praise Symphony Orchestra, Vanguard University Orchestra as well as guitar ensembles and college choir groups. Read More
