For example, it's very good for the health of my own piano technique to be able to explain basic piano technique to someone else. For beginning students who are children, I often use the Andrew Scott Method for flute. When the student is considerably advance I will use the Rubank Book for flute begginers. Once the student is at a comfortable level, I will proceed to introduce him to Body Mapping.
