While at college, I studied piano with Debra Ronning, piano teaching/pedagogy with Cheryl Braun, and organ with Anthony Ciucci. I graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in Music from Houghton College in 2018, which included a minor in Keyboard Studies and a Senior Recital played on the Organ. I have a lot of experience with curriculum development. My favorite books to teach from include Accent on Achievement, Alfred's Piano Book series and Essential Elements. However I can teach without a book on any instruments and compose assignments as I have done in the past. Ive been in choirs (from community to All-State) since I was born, literally - my mom was the church choir director, and I followed suit, assisting her and student-directing my high school choir. I started piano lessons in 4th grade and used it to compose my own music and play in churches since then.
